Well, I did it.  I just ordered a glass kiln.  I'm excited to expand my mosaic work into glass fusing!  I'm picturing mosaic fused bowls, carefully crafted glass findings, ornaments, and sun catchers...among other things.  If you know me, you know I have a list of ideas and never enough time to do everything.  I can't wait to learn and experiment!  2019 will be an interesting year!

I had a fantastic weekend in Wells at the Laudholm Nature Arts Festival.  The weather was cool, and both days were very busy.  I am thankful for amazing customers, as well as for the awesome vendors I was surrounded by-it is a great feeling to be part of a traveling tribe of artists. :) Here is a photo of my display on day #2:

Butterfly Commission

I recently finished a small 12" x 12" butterfly commission for a repeat customer.  It felt great to deliver it yesterday and see her so excited.  The yellow flowers and edges of the butterfly have tiny pieces, and there are glass bead inclusions for the butterfly's eyes and the flower centers.
