Today students learned to score and break stained glass! They practiced on clear glass, and quickly worked their way up to stained glass. They used a variety of scoring tools, including a Thomas grip cutter, Pencil grip cutter, and Pistol grip cutter. Everyone in class was able to cut small quadrilaterals to place around the leaves on the tree, and some students were even able to try cutting leaves for the tree. I will be gluing a lot between now and next Wednesday. Next week a few students will continue cutting glass, while others start filling in the green foliage on the tree.
