I gathered these beach rocks over the summer with the intent of incorporating them into a 12" x 12" mosaic.  One of my favorite things to do is relax on a rocky Maine beach, so naturally, I wanted to recreate that feeling with this piece.  I have been collecting sea glass, beach rocks, and shells my entire life-it was great to work them into a piece of art!
